The limited-edition 14-karat yellow gold tortilla chip pendant is a celebration of the debate around whether or not to double-dip in a bowl of guacamole.
According to a survey done by Avocados From Mexico, 80 percent of Americans admitted to double-dipping into game day guac and 50 percent feel “very tempted” to secretly go back for seconds because the guac was “too good to resist.”
The non-edible “snackcessory” was created to ensure fans are always ready to scoop, dunk, and double dip their way through any bowl of guac, said the company, making it “a statement worth its weight in gold.”

Avocadoes From Mexico worked with jewelers from Verstolo, a fourth-generation New York City-based family jeweler, to bring the chip necklace to life.
The piece, which, if sold, would retail for more than $10,000, comes in a velvet case for storage.
“The Golden Double Dip Chip is our way of leaning into the fun and breaking the so-called ‘rules’ of snacking,” said Alvaro Luque, president and CEO of Avocados From Mexico.
“Guac has an unmatched way of bringing people together on game day, and we wanted to celebrate that magic by making every (and we mean every dip) unforgettable.”
Along with the debut of the 14-karat yellow gold tortilla chip is the casting of Avocados From Mexico’s Guac Guru.
Actor and comedian Rob Riggle was tasked with the role and will be serving up tailored game day plays as well as guac recipes throughout football season.
Riggle said, “As the Guac Guru, I can confidently predict that you’ll find yourself in front of a bowl that’s simply too delicious for a single dip. As for if I’m a double-dipper myself? Well, I’ll never spill that secret. But I will say this: When the guac is this good, who could blame you?”
His first recipe, the Good Luck Guacamole, features edible gold leaf flakes.
