Groves City Marshal Christopher Robin reported that three suspects were arrested June 3 after an officer observed a physical disturbance and intervened in what appeared to be an assault in progress in the 5100 block of 32nd Street shortly after midnight.
During the investigation, the officer learned the victim had allegedly been assaulted by multiple suspects, sustained visible injuries and was robbed of cash and personal property.
All three suspects were taken into custody, and the victim’s stolen property was recovered, according to Robin. The suspects were charged with robbery, a second-degree felony.
