Uckfield Lodge in Church Road was among 150 lots listed across southern England in the latest auction held by one of the top five property auctioneers in the UK, Clive Emson Auctioneers.

Offered jointly with Michael Brooker Estate Agents, it was listed with a freehold guide price of £425,000 to £450,000.

“An interested party was keen to acquire the property before the auction and made an offer which was accepted by the vendor.

“The new owner now has various options including refurbishment throughout and potential sub-division of the upper floors, subject to all necessary consents being obtainable.”

Uckfield Lodge is arranged over three floors as four self-contained flats with the ground floor flat being sold on a long lease and not part of the sale.

The total site area measures 0.07 hectares (0.19 acres) with three garages in a block of four to the rear of the property included.
