BlueDutch unveils Edo Vidia Homes and Park in Benin

By Adetutu Audu

BlueDutch has unveiled Edo Vidia Homes and Park, a premium luxury serviced mixed-use estate development in the heart of Benin City, Edo State, marking another milestone in the company’s expansion within Nigeria’s residential real estate sector.

The project, which is being developed in association with NNPC/NEPL Staff Multipurpose Cooperative Society, was completed on April 9, 2026, and will deliver a minimum of 250 housing units comprising bungalows, duplexes, and maisonettes, making it one of the company’s largest residential developments in Edo State and reflecting its continued investment in organised housing communities across the country.

Located in Benin City, the project is expected to provide quality housing options for homeowners and investors while contributing to the state’s growing residential property market.

Speaking on the development, Managing Director of BlueDutch, Candace Ebhomielen, said the project was designed to combine quality construction, accessibility, and long-term value for residents.

“You have to know why you are building,” she said. “If the foundation of your work is not clear, everything else becomes difficult to sustain.”

Construction of Edo Vidia Homes and Park was handled by Concetti Spazialli, a seasoned real estate contractor and development partner engaged to oversee project execution.

The unveiling comes as demand for organised residential communities continues to grow beyond Nigeria’s traditional property markets, with developers increasingly exploring opportunities in emerging cities such as Benin City.

According to the company, Edo Vidia Homes and Park forms part of its broader commitment to developing communities that go beyond housing by creating environments supported by quality infrastructure and long-term functionality.

Under Ebhomielen’s leadership, BlueDutch has delivered more than 200 housing units across Lagos and Edo State combined while executing infrastructure projects, physical allocation initiatives, and residential developments designed to improve accessibility and support sustainable community growth.

The company said the new development will offer multiple housing options tailored to different categories of homeowners and investors seeking opportunities within Edo State’s expanding real estate sector.

Ebhomielen noted that the long-term success of any development depends on the experience it creates for the people who live there.

“Real estate is not just about putting up buildings,” she said. “It is about creating environments where people can live, invest, and build their future with confidence.”

As work begins on Edo Vidia Homes and Park, BlueDutch said the project represents another step in its efforts to expand quality housing delivery while supporting the continued growth of Nigeria’s residential real estate market.
