Aruma Resources Ltd (ASX:AAJ) delivered broad, high-grade copper-silver intersections at its flagship Tillex Project in Ontario during the June 2026 quarter, strengthening the case for the asset as a potentially significant copper development opportunity.
The company completed 1,093 metres of maiden diamond drilling at Tillex, confirming shallow mineralisation across wide intervals and demonstrating that the system remains open along strike and at depth.
Standout results included:
- 89 metres at 2.04% copper and 12.31 g/t silver from 38.8 metres, including 16.87 metres at 4.02% copper and 16.85 g/t silver;
- 87 metres at 1.99% copper and 12.63 g/t silver from 30 metres, including 5.6 metres at 5.36% copper and 56.89 g/t silver; and
- 59 metres at 1.91% copper and 8.80 g/t silver from 38 metres, including 9.07 metres at 3.13% copper and 12.80 g/t silver.
Aruma’s Phase 1 results, together with historical drilling, supported an emerging model for a broad and potentially scalable copper-silver sulphide system at Tillex.

Tillex mineralisation remains open
The Tillex Project is in the Timmins mining district of Ontario, one of Canada’s established mining regions, and comprises four patent claims acquired by Aruma earlier in 2026.
Phase 1 drilling confirmed the scale and continuity of shallow, high-grade mineralisation, while also identifying copper mineralisation within feldspar porphyry in the northern portion of the project.
The company considers the porphyry-hosted mineralisation an additional exploration target that could increase the overall scale of the system. Representative samples will be included in planned metallurgical testing to assess the processing characteristics of the different mineralised units.
Drilling also returned anomalous zinc in the deepest hole, TX26-001, including a peak of 0.84% zinc. Aruma believes the copper-zinc zonation may provide a vector towards higher-temperature, copper-rich zones within a potential volcanogenic massive sulphide system.

Geophysics strengthens exploration model
Downhole electromagnetic surveying completed alongside the drilling confirmed a strong, continuous conductor extending along strike and at depth.
The survey identified a coherent main conductor across an interpreted 100 to 150 metres of strike and depth, with two highly conductive plates occurring within a broader conductive corridor.
These plates are interpreted to coincide with known zones of wide, high-grade copper-silver mineralisation, providing Aruma with a more focused framework for additional drilling and potential resource delineation.
Earlier ground electromagnetic work extended the interpreted strike length of the main Tillex conductor to around 600 metres and indicated that it may continue to at least 400 metres below surface.
A separate eastern conductor was also identified at an interpreted depth of about 120 metres, with around 200 metres of strike and conductivity of up to 145 Siemens.
Phase 2 drilling underway
Subsequent to the end of the quarter, Aruma began a larger Phase 2 diamond drilling campaign at Tillex.
The approximately 3,600-metre program is testing strike and depth extensions of the known mineralised trend, as well as the significant electromagnetic conductor interpreted to plunge shallowly towards the southwest.
Drilling is expected to be completed during the current quarter, with results to be released progressively as assays become available.

Australian portfolio work continues
Aruma also advanced several projects across its Australian portfolio during the quarter.
At the Wilan Project in South Australia, the company completed a review and reprocessing program covering available geophysical data to define heavy mineral sands targets within the Eromanga Basin. Results remain pending.
At the Fiery Creek Copper Project in Queensland’s Mt Isa copper belt, detailed structural analysis and initial 3D modelling were completed, with Aruma assessing the results before releasing further information.
The company also continued evaluating soil sampling data from the Saltwater Project in Western Australia and finalised plans for potential soil sampling at the R9 anomaly within the Bortala Copper Project in Queensland.

Cash position and funding
Aruma ended the quarter with cash reserves of approximately A$819,000 and no debt.
The company spent about A$878,000 on exploration and evaluation during the period and reported estimated funding for 0.76 quarters based on its June-quarter expenditure rate.
Aruma said it was in advanced discussions to raise additional capital to complete planned exploration activities and remained confident that further funding could be secured. It also retains the ability to adjust exploration expenditure to manage cash flow.
Next steps
Aruma’s immediate priorities are to complete the 3,600-metre Phase 2 drilling program at Tillex, progressively report assay results and further refine the project’s conductor geometry using downhole electromagnetic surveying.
The company also plans metallurgical testwork on mineralised samples from Phase 1 drilling, while awaiting heavy mineral sands targeting results from Wilan and completing its assessment of structural modelling at Fiery Creek.
