Chromalloy has appointed Keats Sexton as vice president of corporate financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and treasurer, adding a veteran aerospace and defense investment banker to strengthen the company’s financial leadership as it continues executing its growth strategy.
Sexton will oversee enterprise financial planning, budgeting and forecasting while leading treasury operations, capital structure management and strategic financial analysis. He will also support Chromalloy’s global mergers and acquisitions and business development activities, reflecting the company’s continued focus on disciplined capital allocation and strategic expansion in the aerospace aftermarket.
The appointment comes as demand for aircraft engine maintenance, repair and overhaul services remains strong, driven by aging commercial fleets, constrained supply chains and continued growth in global air travel. Companies across the aerospace aftermarket have increasingly emphasized financial discipline and strategic investment as they expand capabilities and pursue consolidation opportunities.
“As Chromalloy continues to grow and execute on its strategic priorities, having the right financial leadership in place is essential,” said Lee Eckert, chief financial officer of Chromalloy. “Keats brings a depth of aerospace and defense knowledge and a strategic mindset that will strengthen our ability to make sound decisions, allocate capital effectively, and position the business for long-term success.”
Sexton joins Chromalloy with more than 16 years of experience in investment banking and aerospace and defense finance. Most recently, he served as managing director and Americas head of aerospace, defense and government services at UBS Investment Bank, where he advised clients on mergers and acquisitions as well as capital markets transactions across the sector.
During his tenure at UBS, Sexton worked on several high-profile transactions, including advising Veritas Capital on its acquisition of Chromalloy in 2022. His background provides the company with deep experience in corporate finance, capital deployment and strategic transactions at a time when aerospace suppliers continue to invest in operational scale and technology capabilities.
In his new role, Sexton will help guide enterprise financial planning while providing executive leadership with strategic financial analysis to support long-term decision-making. His responsibilities will also include evaluating acquisition opportunities and conducting financial due diligence as Chromalloy expands its global business.
The appointment reflects a broader trend across the aerospace and defense industry, where manufacturers and aftermarket service providers are recruiting executives with investment banking and transaction experience to support growth, capital allocation and portfolio optimization. As demand for engine maintenance and repair services continues to rise, financial leadership has become increasingly important in balancing operational investment with strategic acquisitions.
Chromalloy provides engineering, manufacturing and repair services for the aerospace, defense and energy sectors, specializing in the aftermarket for aircraft and industrial gas turbine engines. The company is a leading provider of FAA-certified Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) components and Designated Engineering Representative (DER) repair solutions, serving airlines, engine asset owners and maintenance organizations worldwide. Operating from more than 20 locations globally, Chromalloy continues to invest in engineering, manufacturing and repair capabilities to support legacy and midlife engine platforms while expanding its position in the global aerospace aftermarket.
