The wave of silver-finish lenses for Fujifilm X-mount cameras continues. After Viltrox and SG-Image introduced silver versions of their lenses last week, TTArtisan is joining in with a particularly interesting option for Fujifilm photographers.
The TTArtisan AF 75mm F/2 Silver Edition is now available for Fujifilm X-mount cameras, bringing the compact autofocus portrait lens to the system in a finish that pairs nicely with Fujifilm’s retro-styled camera bodies.
The lens itself isn’t new. The AF 75mm F/2 has already been available for Nikon Z, Sony E, and Leica L mounts, but this is the first time it has been offered for Fujifilm X. The new silver version is also purely a cosmetic update, with the optical design and performance remaining unchanged.
That should be good news for Fujifilm users, as the AF 75mm F/2 has received positive reviews for its combination of size, image quality, and price.
A Compact Portrait Prime for Fujifilm X
The 75mm focal length sits in an interesting spot for portraits. It provides enough reach to separate a subject from the background and produce attractive bokeh, without compressing the scene as heavily as longer telephoto lenses. This means the background can still provide some context while the subject remains clearly separated.
The lens uses an optical design consisting of 10 elements in seven groups, including four high-index elements and one extra-low dispersion element. These are designed to control dispersion and chromatic aberrations while maintaining image quality.
A nine-bladed aperture is also used to produce what TTArtisan describes as a “dreamy bokeh effect.”
Autofocus is driven by a lead-screw stepper motor, which is designed to provide fast, quiet, and accurate focusing. The lens supports Eye, Animal, and Vehicle detection autofocus with compatible cameras and can focus as close as 0.75m for tighter compositions.
The AF 75mm F/2 uses an all-metal construction, giving it a solid feel while keeping the lens relatively compact. It measures 74mm long and weighs 328g. There is no weather sealing, which isn’t particularly surprising given its budget positioning.
The lens also features a smooth manual focus ring and a clicked aperture ring for direct control. There is a USB-C port built into the lens cap for firmware updates.

The TTArtisan AF 75mm F/2 Silver Edition for Fujifilm X mount is now available to order from the TTArtisan online store and B&H Photo for $199.
The lens is also available for Sony E, Nikon Z, and Leica L mounts.
