(IMM) Following the introduction of “Dreaming Dangerous,” Los Angeles rock outfit Sons of Silver continues their rollout toward a new studio album with the release of their second song and video, “Fire Between Us,” on August 14.

Driven by towering guitars, thunderous rhythms, and the band’s signature cinematic approach to modern rock, “Fire Between Us” captures the urgency and emotional intensity that has become a hallmark of Sons of Silver’s sound. Fueled by the rallying refrain “Fire, fire, fire between us,” the song balances anthemic hooks with an undercurrent of tension, delivering a powerful statement about confronting conflict rather than surrendering to it.

Singer/guitarist Peter Argyropoulos shares, “The song captures the volatile pull between two people whose conflict, desire, and emotional burn with equal intensity-the very force threatening to divide them is also what keeps them connected.” Keyboardist/engineer Brina Kabler adds, I love the play between the guitars and the keyboards in the song. We found a way to weave big melodies between the two, which makes this song really fun to play.

“Fire Between Us” follows the release of “Dreaming Dangerous,” the first glimpse into the band’s forthcoming album due later this year. The single earned praise for its ambitious scope and dynamic songwriting, with The Big Takoever writing, “The song is built on big riffs, pummeling drums, and depth-charge bass, but it’s framed with space and atmosphere, working best when dynamics shift between understated lulls and explosive crescendos.”

The band features singer/guitarist Peter Argyropoulos (Last December, Pete RG), bassist Adam Kury (Candlebox), guitarist Kevin Haaland (Skillet), drummer Marc Slutsky (Splender, Peter Murphy), and keyboardist/engineer Brina Kabler.

Following acclaimed tours with Dogstar and Myles Kennedy, Sons of Silver have earned praise for performances that combine technical precision with undeniable emotional impact. “If you appreciate gifted musicians creating art that feels genuine, Sons of Silver is a show you won’t want to miss. Their devotion to their craft is unmistakable as they bring their songs to life on stage, inviting fans to embark on this exhilarating journey with them,” said The Concert Chronicles. While I’m Music Magazine shared, “The band was very focused and sounded great! Their set was more of a rapid-fire assault of the senses with one song after another.”

In late 2025, Sons of Silver released the live EP 7 Cities 7 Songs, recorded during their Art of Letting Go Tour with Myles Kennedy and Tim Montana, further showcasing the band’s powerful onstage chemistry. Folk N Rock praised the release, writing, “The riffs sound phenomenal here, with a strong clarity that gives the performance its live action energy. For a live cut, the recording feels immaculate.”

Their acclaimed debut full-length album, Runaway Emotions cemented the band’s reputation as one of modern rock’s emerging forces. Classic Rock called the album “fully formed ‘big’ music, purpose-designed for large crowds and larger arenas,” while New Noise praised its “multiplexity of soaring vocals, alternative rock, and riffs. Every song pours emotion and energy.”

With a new album on the horizon and a steady stream of new music and videos leading the way, Sons of Silver continue to expand their creative vision of melding timeless rock influences with modern alternative energy.
