AIMA appoints three new council directors

The Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) has appointed three new directors to its council.

The alternative investment trade body has appointed Ronan Guilfoyle of Calderwood, Stephen Berger of Citadel and Liam O’Sullivan of RPIA Capital Management to its governing body, the AIMA Council.

The appointments follow Russell Burt of Marbury Fund Services, Angus Milne of TCI Fund Management and Donna Rix of Citadel stepping down as council directors.

“The breadth of experience and global perspective of our council are central to AIMA’s ability to represent our members and respond to their changing needs,” said AIMA chief executive Jack Inglis. “As our industry navigates geopolitical uncertainty, differing regulatory priorities across markets and rapid technological change, that guidance is more valuable than ever.

“I am delighted to welcome our new council members, as well as thank those who are continuing to serve.”

“The alternative investment industry has a crucial role to play in helping investors navigate uncertainty and in providing capital to support economic growth,” said May. “I look forward to working with my fellow council members to champion our industry around the world.”
