Weintraub is joining from KIRKBI, the private investment
holding company behind the LEGO Group, where he served as
investment director. Christoph Raninger, who had led Syz Capital
during a transition phase, will continue as group chief
financial officer.

Geneva-headquartered Syz Group said its alternatives investment
business will concentrate entirely on private equity through two
strategies: direct investments in European small and mid-market
B2B businesses, and its primary private equity programme, which
provides investors with access to a diversified portfolio of
high-quality private equity opportunities through specialist
managers.

Syz Group said the Legal Assets business will separate from the
group through a management buyout led by its founder, Olivier
Maurice, and operate independently as Hykra Capital SA. Maurice
and the team will move to the new company, ensuring continuity in
the management of the existing investment strategies while
maintaining close collaboration with Syz Group.
