Haldia Petrochemicals Appoints Kaushik Sarkar as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer


Kolkata, West Bengal, India, October 2026 — Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd (HPL) has appointed Kaushik Sarkar as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, strengthening its senior leadership team as the company enters its next phase of growth. Sarkar brings experience across financial leadership, strategy, governance, business transformation, M&A, operations and shared services across technology, engineering, manufacturing and software businesses.

Prior to joining HPL, Sarkar served as Senior Vice President, CFO & Board Member at Bosch Global Software Technologies, where he held responsibility for financial leadership and participated in the company’s governance as a Board member. His career has combined enterprise finance responsibilities with business partnering and transformation across global organisations.

Earlier, Sarkar was Global CFO at AXISCADES, leading global finance, business operations, investor relations and compliance. His responsibilities included developing strategies for profitability and growth, cost productivity, process improvement and go-to-market initiatives across global subsidiaries. He also served on the boards of group companies.

At Adobe Systems, Sarkar served as Senior Director & Head of Finance & Operations, functioning as CFO for Adobe India. His remit encompassed finance, accounting, tax, facilities, projects and procurement, alongside financial responsibility for the Global Print and Publishing business and shared service operations. Before Adobe, he held senior finance leadership responsibilities at Oracle Corporation, including finance for its global cloud computing business and the establishment of Oracle’s Finance Global Capability Centre in India.

Sarkar previously served as Head – Finance & Commercial, Automation and Manufacturing at Siemens, where his responsibilities included finance and operations for the Process Automation business and finance and commercial leadership across manufacturing operations in India. He began his career in auditing, working across statutory, internal and inspection audits.

Sarkar’s appointment brings to HPL a career spanning corporate finance, business operations, governance, global finance, shared services, GCCs, transformation, investor relations and manufacturing finance. As Executive Vice President & CFO, his financial leadership and transformation experience will support HPL as the company advances its growth agenda.
