CertiK Announces Brand Upgrade to Reflect Its Expanded Role in Digital Asset Risk Management

NEW YORK, October 19, 2026 ― CertiK unveiled its brand upgrade at TOKEN2049 Singapore, introducing “The Trust Layer for Digital Value” as its new slogan. The upgrade reflects the company’s evolution from smart contract security to broader security and risk management for financial institutions and regulators, supporting its mission of “Building the Trust Infrastructure for the Digital Economy.”

As institutional adoption of digital assets grows, the focus is shifting from whether to participate to how to do so securely and responsibly. A 2026 survey by EY-Parthenon and Coinbase found that 73% of institutional investors plan to increase their digital asset allocations, while 49% have placed greater emphasis on risk management, liquidity, and position sizing.

At the same time, global digital asset regulation is moving from exploratory guidance to active enforcement. Across markets including Hong Kong, the UAE, and the EU, regulatory frameworks are raising expectations for security assessments, risk management, and oversight. CertiK’s own research shows that AML-related fines and settlements exceeded $900 million in H1 2025. Together, these shifts are increasing the need for financial institutions and regulators to maintain continuous risk visibility beyond traditional one-time audits.

CertiK addresses these needs through CertiK Compliance, backed by security intelligence spanning over 20 blockchains and 400 million labeled addresses. For banks and VASPs, CertiK Compliance helps streamline licensing preparation and maintain ongoing compliance through AI-assisted regulatory mapping, continuous AML/KYT screening, and smart contract assessments, enabling institutions to enter and operate in digital asset markets with greater confidence. For regulators, this product provides visibility across more than 200 licensed VASPs and 17,000 tokens, combining continuous risk ratings, automated alerts, and evidence-backed investigations to help identify emerging threats, prioritize supervisory actions, and make more informed regulatory decisions.

The product has already been adopted by financial institutions and regulatory authorities. Their potential deployment is also being explored under CertiK’s September 2026 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic (NBKR). CertiK and NBKR intend to explore cooperation on Digital Som security and digital asset oversight, including cybersecurity, formal verification, AML/CFT, and operational resilience. The collaboration aims to help the central bank identify risks earlier, strengthen operational resilience, and develop more effective long-term supervisory capabilities.

“Digital assets are changing how value moves. Institutions offering digital asset services and the regulators overseeing them need security, compliance, and risk visibility to work together,” said Jason Jiang, Chief Business Officer at CertiK. “Our brand upgrade reflects how CertiK has evolved to support those needs, and our ambition to serve as the trust layer for digital value.”

The brand upgrade brings CertiK’s expanding capabilities and institutional partnerships under a unified identity. It reflects the company’s evolution while reinforcing its long-term commitment to building trust in the digital economy.
