China government bond yields fall as global yields surge


Across most major economies, yields have been grinding upward, driven by investors reacting to mounting government debt loads and the energy-price shock stemming from the war in Iran, according to the Wall Street Journal. Optimism around artificial intelligence has also drawn money away from government bonds and toward AI labs and data center builders, adding upward pressure on yields elsewhere.
