Founded in Dubai in 2001, Maison H Jewels has built its name around fine and high jewelry, with a particular focus on unusual materials and gemstones. Its new collection, The Essentials, takes a more pared-back approach, centered on necklaces designed to become regular fixtures rather than pieces reserved for specific occasions.
The collection is split between two treatments. One uses articulated hexagonal links in 18K yellow, white, rose, and brown gold, finished with white or champagne diamonds. The other shifts the emphasis almost entirely to the stones, with full-pavé necklaces that trace the neckline in diamonds.
Brown gold is one of the more unusual elements in the collection. Maison H pairs it with champagne diamonds in a brushed hexagonal necklace, creating a warmer, less traditional alternative to yellow or rose gold. The linked construction also gives the pieces flexibility, allowing the geometry to move rather than sit rigidly against the body.
With The Essentials, Maison H is placing less emphasis on occasion jewelry and more on repetition. These are pieces intended to be worn frequently, either on their own or alongside jewelry already in rotation, bringing a more everyday proposition to the Dubai house’s fine-jewelry offering.
