The “Enchanted Garden” series features three pendants replicating a pair of cherries, a pear, and a lemon through 18-karat yellow gold, colored gemstones, and diamonds.
In keeping with the brand’s affinity for lockets, each piece has a secret element as the fruit opens to reveal its seeds or pit.
“My Enchanted Garden fruit series is an exercise in ‘surprise and delight,’” said Kosann, the designer and chief creative officer of her eponymous brand.
“Much like lockets, these pieces hold a little secret inside… a slice of lemon where the pits are made of diamonds… open up the cherry and behold a gorgeous garnet… or, the pear glistening with gemstone seeds… a piece of fine jewelry that’s a tad bit cheeky.”
The pear “Enchanted Garden” necklace is made in 18-karat yellow gold, set with 0.71 carats of orange sapphire, 3.50 carats of yellow sapphire, 1.50 carats of peridot, 1.36 carats of tsavorite, and 0.03 carats of diamonds. The pear opens to reveal five pear-shaped garnets totaling 1.72 carats ($14,500).
The lemon “Enchanted Garden” necklace features an 18-karat yellow gold lemon with 0.46 carats of yellow diamonds and 0.48 carats of yellow sapphires alongside a leaf accented with tsavorites and a stem with white diamonds. A slice of the lemon slides out to reveal white diamond seeds. ($21,650).
Kosann said she added fruits to her high jewelry collection this season to add a bit of whimsy.
The cherry necklace is $10,985 and the pear necklace is $14,500. The lemon necklace is $21,650 and available only by special order.
