Patek Philippe 6105G Celestial Watch With Sunrise & Sunset

1 minute read

Patek Philippe’s new 6105G Celestial drags the brand’s astronomical line somewhere it hasn’t been before, with the first-ever sunrise and sunset indications in a Patek and a 47mm white gold case clearly inspired by space modules. The sapphire dial maps the northern sky with a rotating star chart, lunar phases and orbit, meridian passage of Sirius and the Moon, and a floating ellipse that frames the slice of sky visible from Geneva and any city on the same latitude. Powering it is the new 240 C LU CL LCSO, a reworked micro-rotor caliber with 426 parts, six pending patents, and a clever correction system that adjusts time and sunrise/sunset together when daylight saving flips. It rides on a black composite strap with a white gold fold-over clasp.
