It’s not always easy to accessorise like royalty—but in this case, it is. On more than one occasion, The Princess of Wales has been spotted wearing a pair of triple-banded, mixed-metal huggie hoops during a visit earlier this year when to the Family Action charity in Bradford.
For the occasion, the Princess chose a pair of simple yet chic layered gold earrings. They look like the Cartier Trinity earrings, but we’ve found a couple of doubles with a much more affordable price tag.
First off, check out these twisted mixed metal huggies from Mejuri. While they don’t have a rose tone, they come close to Kate’s. Contributing writer and editor Shanon Maglente is a fan of the brand: ‘I have a few pieces from Mejuri, and I love that you can get demi-fine jewellery at decent prices—they make for a nice gift without hurting your wallet,’ she says.
Etsy also has an option for even cheaper. While these split huggie hoops from aren’t identical to Kate’s, they’re extremely similar, given the layered, mixed metal design.
Adrianna Freedman, associate news and entertainment editor of US Good Housekeeping, is a fan of the brand and likes these gold-chain earrings in particular. ‘They last through so many workouts,’ she said. ‘They haven’t tarnished, and I’ve had them for a few months. I’m obsessed.’
Kate has also been photographed on multiple occasions wearing link-style huggie hoop earrings. It was previously confirmed by British jewelry brand Orelia on the brand’s X account that Kate wears these £30 chain hoop earrings (above), which are readily available on the Orelia website.
