Detectives are appealing for information following the report of a burglary in the Castlereagh area of Belfast.
The alleged crime was said to have taken place on Monday, January 15.
Shortly after 7.15pm, it was reported that access had been gained to a property in the Breda Road area, via a smashed rear window sometime between 6pm and 7pm.
The house was ransacked and a quantity of jewellery taken, including two distinctive gold wedding bracelets.
Detective Inspector Bell said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have seen four males all dressed in dark coloured clothing or any suspicious vehicles in the area at the time to contact detectives.
“I am also appealing to anyone with CCTV, doorbell or other footage or information that could assist enquiries to get in touch on 101 quoting reference 1667 of 15/1/24.”
