Renforth Resources CEO Nicole Brewster joined Steve Darling from Proactive to provide an update on ongoing exploration and resource development activities at the company’s Parbec Gold Deposit in Quebec, highlighting progress on drilling, surface sampling and an internal mineral resource estimate update.
Brewster explained that Renforth has completed logging and sampling of drill core from two undercut drill holes completed in August 2026, marking the first drilling conducted on the Parbec Gold Deposit since 2022. The company has also carried out additional stripping and washing programs aimed at better defining previously identified gold-bearing surface channels located within the current open-pit footprint.
The work forms part of a broader effort to refine the geological understanding of the deposit and support an updated geological model and resource estimate.
Renforth is currently awaiting assay results from several recently completed channel samples, including CHNL-PAR-26-59, CHNL-PAR-26-60, CHNL-PAR-26-61 and CHNL-PAR-26-62, as well as assays from newly collected drill core samples and additional channel extensions and infill sampling. The company expects the results to provide valuable data for its ongoing modelling work.
Brewster noted that drill holes PAR-26-149 and PAR-26-150 have now been fully logged by the geological team. During the logging process, geologists observed several encouraging features, including four fine flecks of visible gold within hole PAR-26-149. While visible gold is often considered a positive indicator, Brewster emphasized that such observations are uncommon at Parbec and should not be interpreted as a direct indication of grade due to the nature of gold distribution and assay methodologies.
All selected drill core samples have been bagged, tagged and submitted for photon assay analysis, with results expected once laboratory processing is complete.
In parallel with exploration activities, Renforth continues to advance an update to the Parbec geological model and mineral resource estimate. The company recently completed a Qualified Person site visit, including witness sampling, to support the ongoing technical review process.
While the current resource update is being conducted internally, Brewster said the completion of the QP review and witness sampling provides the necessary groundwork should the company decide to publicly disclose the updated model and resource estimate in the future.
Brewster also outlined early-stage process research at Victoria, noting the company has confirmed it can sort material to reduce waste and improve grade, process conventionally using grind and flotation, and is exploring newer technology to produce battery chemistry or precipitate metals directly. She described working with scientists on this approach, framing the project as being built from the ground up.
