Nature has always been part of Chaumet’s language, and its latest High Jewellery collection gives that relationship a more sensory point of view. Titled A Journey Through Nature, the collection turns plants, spices, herbs, gold, and exceptional gems into pieces shaped around feeling, memory, and sensation.
Structured across three chapters, the collection moves from botanic freshness to spicy sweetness and aromatic warmth. Tea fields, mint leaves, vanilla flowers, cinnamon bark, coffee, peppercorns, saffron, and star anise become the starting points for a collection that feels lush, fragrant, and full of movement. White gold, yellow gold, emeralds, sapphires, aquamarines, pearls, diamonds, rubellites, tourmalines, garnets, and grand feu enamel bring those sensations to life through color, texture, and form.
Chaumet carries its naturalist heritage into a richly emotional register. Tea Field brings together white gold, diamonds, and Colombian emeralds in fluid forms inspired by water and terraced landscapes, while Vanilla Flower transforms white gold and diamonds into a tribute to one of nature’s most precious plants. Elsewhere, Cinnamon Bark leans into warm, rounded forms with amber-toned stones, Coffee Aroma uses blue sapphires, white gold, and pavé diamonds to evoke depth and warmth, and Saffron Flower pairs yellow diamonds with vivid enamel in honor of one of the world’s rarest spices.
There is also a strong sense of ease throughout the collection. Many pieces are designed to be worn in multiple ways, with organic curves, light volumes, and modern material contrasts giving Chaumet’s naturalist heritage a freer, more contemporary expression. The Maison also nods to its long-standing bee motif with 25 brooches, creating a jeweled swarm that connects the new collection back to an emblem that has been part of Chaumet’s world since the Napoleonic era.
For a house that has described itself as a “naturalist jeweller” since its earliest days, A Journey Through Nature feels like a continuation with a new emotional register. This is nature as Chaumet sees it now: rare, intimate, sensorial, and crafted into High Jewellery with unmistakable Parisian savoir-faire.
