White Gold (TSX-V:WGO) has completed 18 drill holes totalling about 7,000m as part of its 2026 exploration program, targeting resource growth across its district-scale project of the same name in Yukon, Canada.
The campaign focuses on expanding gold resources at the Golden Saddle, Arc, Ryan’s Surprise, and VG deposits, while also testing nearby exploration targets. Earmarked for 15,000–20,000m of drilling, it represents the company’s largest ever.
The program is fully funded, supported by strategic partners including Agnico Eagle Mines (TSX:AEM).
Drilling began in late May and has since ramped up to three rigs, targeting extensions of known mineralisation around the four deposits.
The project currently hosts 1.73 million ounces of indicated resources and 1.26 million ounces of inferred resources, with most of the indicated ounces contained within the Golden Saddle deposit.
So far, White Gold’s team has tested down-plunge extensions at Golden Saddle and VG, completed step-out drilling at Ryan’s Surprise, and is scheduled to move to Arc during the second half of the program.
The company has also completed prospecting and mapping to evaluate additional exploration targets, including two high-priority prospects near the Golden Saddle and VG deposits.
“The White Gold Project represents one of Canada’s highest-grade open-pittable deposits, which has been delineated with relatively much less drilling as compared to deposits of similar size,” Vice President of Exploration Dylan Langille says.
“With the deposits being open for expansion and the additional targets in close proximity, we are quite optimistic for the continued growth potential.”
Alongside the drilling campaign, White Gold is advancing a preliminary economic assessment, which it says is in the final stages of completion.
White Gold’s property portfolio includes 15,362 quartz claims across 21 properties covering 300,000 hectares and hosts numerous prospective gold and critical mineral targets.
