White Gold Corp. CVEWGO OTCMKTSWHGOF FRA29W reported on Tuesday that drilling at Golden Saddle in Yukon returned 5.13 grams per tonne gold over 7.88 metres. The intercept extends the deposit’s high-grade core about 50 metres west within the current resource pit shell.
Shares fell two cents to C$1.57 on the TSX Venture Exchange at the Oct. 19 close, 4:00 p.m. EDT, according to CVEWGO. That close preceded Tuesday’s assay announcement.
At the separate VG deposit, drilling extended mineralization to 320 metres down plunge from 230 metres, across about 150 metres of strike. White Gold said those intersections lie beyond the current mineral resource estimate.
The Yukon gold explorer plans to incorporate the results into future resource updates, with assays from 49 additional holes pending. Its Oct. 20 announcement reports intersections at the existing deposits rather than a revised resource estimate.
Golden Saddle hole WHTGS26D0219 returned the headline interval within 38.08 metres grading 1.47 grams per tonne. That wider run began at 397.12 metres down hole, about 300 metres vertically below surface.
The nested high-grade interval also contained 10.48 grams per tonne over 2.88 metres. White Gold expects the drilling to extend and upgrade surrounding blocks in its resource model.
The Golden Saddle hole also returned 1.16 grams per tonne over 12.60 metres in the hanging wall. That interval began 140.5 metres down hole, while a separate footwall interval graded 4.05 grams per tonne over 1.97 metres.
The company’s 2025 Golden Saddle drilling also returned 3.23 grams per tonne over 56.10 metres. The Oct. 20 release says that intersection was excluded from the current resource and preliminary economic assessment.
At VG, hole QV26-026 intersected 2.53 grams per tonne over 18.90 metres. The interval started 172.1 metres down hole.
Hole QV26-024 returned 0.71 grams per tonne over 38.45 metres. White Gold said the new VG holes also bridge an approximately 120-metre gap to a historical intercept excluded from the current resource.
The company interprets that connection as continuity to about 350 metres down plunge, where mineralization remains open. That distance includes the historical drilling, while the new holes extend the previously drilled mineralization to 320 metres.
“VG is growing, and we see it as a significant source of potential new high-grade ounces for our next resource update,” president and director Donovan Pollitt said in the release.
White Gold’s company fact sheet describes a fully financed 2026 drill program of 15,000 to 20,000 metres. The program targets growth around the project’s four deposits and nearby exploration targets.

Further assays from 49 holes are pending, and the Oct. 20 announcement gives no date for those results or the next resource update.
