As Suvankar Sen, of Senco Gold & Diamonds, told Solitaire magazine, “Elevated gold prices are not reducing consumer’s intent; they are reshaping how consumers enter the category.” The trend reflects a shift in consumer priorities: buyers are investing in fewer, more meaningful acquisitions that offer both emotional appeal and intrinsic worth. As economic uncertainty persists, fine jewellery is increasingly viewed not only as a luxury purchase but also as a tangible asset and future heirloom; gold is now more than ever, seen as a store of wealth.
