Will Adesanya or Chimaev take UFC middleweight gold next?

A pair of big-name UFC middleweights have recently made headlines for different reasons.

Former UFC middleweight champ Israel Adesanya has been looking jacked in recent photos that he has posted online. While “The Last Stylebender” said he would be taking time away from the sport to reset, some have begun speculating if he’s making a move to the light heavyweight division.

Khamzat Chimaev revealed on social media that he was fighting off a severe illness. Not only was he dealing with a hand injury from his victory over Kamaru Usman, other health issues have delayed his return to action.

With both fighters’ careers in a holding patter, what’s more likely to happen: Adesanya reclaims the middleweight title or Chimaev becomes UFC champion for the first time?

That was a topic of discussion on the latest episode of “Spinning Back Clique,” with panelists Danny Segura, Farah Hannoun, Brian “Goze” Garcia and host “Gorgeous” George Garcia.
