Palladium Hotel Group and Radisson Hotel Group have strengthened their presence in Spain with openings in Peñíscola and Tarifa, two destinations outside the traditional major holiday hubs. The operation confirms the interest of national and international chains in locations with tourist appeal, their own identity and the capacity to attract diverse demand.
Palladium Hotel Group has opened the Palladium Hotel Peñíscola, its first property in the province of Castellón, with 315 rooms, five swimming pools, spa, food and beverage offering and leisure programme for adults and families. The addition also strengthens its presence in the Valencian Community, where it already operates Only You Hotel Valencia.
In turn, Radisson Individuals has added to its portfolio the hotel Tarifa Lances, in Cádiz, with 105 rooms, three pools, wellness area, gastro offering, rooftop with views and two rooms for meetings and events.
Both openings reflect a shared trend in the sector: major chains are backing alternative destinations on the Spanish coast, supported by their local uniqueness, natural appeal and capacity to attract domestic and international tourism.
