Palladium Jumps to a Three-Week High as Strikes and Iran Tensions Collide


Palladium spiked 4.9% to $1,441 an ounce on September 3, its highest level in three weeks, as a Montana mine strike, South Africa’s ongoing power crisis, and fresh US strikes on Iranian oil tankers collided at once. Platinum jumped alongside it, and BMI Research now sees palladium averaging $1,400 for the year.
