Riviera unveiled its newest model, the 6200 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition, at the 2026 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in May.
At just over 68 feet, the 6200 is the latest addition to Riviera’s Sport Yacht Platinum Edition Collection — a range that traces its origins back to the 3600, which debuted in 2005. Two decades on, the collection has grown to span multiple models, with the 6200 representing the latest development in that lineage.
Built on a new-generation hull, the design is centred on a single-level main deck that integrates the aft deck, saloon and helm — a layout Riviera says allows for more usable space than comparable boats of similar length.
Aft deck and alfresco galley
Step aboard via the teak-laid boarding platform and you land straight onto the all-seasons aft deck, which is the social centrepiece of the 6200. A full-width lounge runs across the stern, with a handcrafted timber dining table to starboard that can seat a larger group with occasional chairs added.
An electric blind on the hardtop lowers at the press of a button for shade and privacy, and an electric sunroof glides open overhead when conditions invite it.
The entertainer’s galley is fully equipped — side-by-side BBQ and hotplate, extractor fan, two refrigeration drawers, an icemaker, and a wet bar with solid surface benchtop, sink and mixer. Port and starboard wing doors on the aft deck provide direct access to raised jetties.
There are also three joystick docking stations — one at the helm and one each on the port and starboard aft deck — giving the skipper low-speed manoeuvrability from almost anywhere on board.
Saloon and galley
Slide open the toughened glass saloon door and the aft deck opens into a single connected living space.
The U-shaped galley is fitted with a three-element induction cooktop, multifunction oven/microwave, dishwasher, full-height refrigerator, two freezer drawers, a wine cooler, and a bar and drinks cabinet. Handcrafted timber joinery runs throughout.
The saloon itself offers three lounge configurations — a U-shaped dining lounge with a fold-away timber table, a matching sofa and ottoman, and an L-shaped companion lounge at the helm.
A large LED television rises at the push of a button, and with the blinds down, the space becomes a dedicated cinema room with a premium sound system. A starboard side door connects the galley directly to the forward deck.
Helm
The helm features touchscreen navigation, a curved-glass windscreen, and fully adjustable captain and companion chairs in hand-stitched leather.
The companion chair swivels 180 degrees to add additional seating to the saloon at anchor. A high-resolution integrated camera system gives the skipper live vision of the bow anchor, aft deck, engine room and swim platform through the navigation screens.
Foredeck
Follow the wide side decks forward from the saloon door and the 6200 reveals a second entertaining space at the bow. The foredeck is fitted with a U-shaped lounge conversation area, with forward sun pads featuring hinged backrests that convert between upright seating and flat sunlounges.
An insulated icebox, stereo speakers and a companion table complete the setup. An optional euro-style awning pulls out for shade, and stows away in forward lockers when underway.
Accommodation
Below deck, buyers can choose between three or four staterooms with three ensuite bathrooms. The full-beam master suite runs the full width of the hull and features a king-size walk-around island bed, cedar-lined wardrobes, a chaise lounge, and an ensuite with a frameless glass shower and heated towel rail.
The forward VIP stateroom offers a queen-size island bed, private ensuite, and natural light through tinted hull windows. The portside guest cabin converts between twin singles and a double at the touch of a button.
A fourth stateroom to starboard has two adult-sized single berths and can alternatively be optioned as a lower lounge or games area. The utility room offers a dedicated laundry with separate washing machine and dryer, with the option to configure as a crew cabin instead.
Swim platform and tender garage
The electro-hydraulic swim platform articulates into steps as it lowers to the waterline, making water access straightforward. An integrated roller and winch system handles launch and retrieval of a 3.6-metre RIB with outboard attached.
The tender garage also accommodates two Sea-Bobs, a stand-up paddleboard, dive gear, and a Scanstrut air compressor station for inflatables.
Power and options
The 6200 is powered by twin Volvo Penta D13 IPS 1200 engines, each rated at 900hp. Optional systems include Volvo Assisted Docking, Humphree fin or Seakeeper gyro stabilisation, Starlink satellite internet, and Sentinel telematics for remote systems monitoring.
