After a day of repairs, moviegoers will once again be able to catch a film at Santikos Palladium beginning Thursday.
The theater announced it will reopen Thursday, July 16, in time for the release of The Odyssey.
“We’re excited to welcome everyone back as Santikos Palladium reopens Thursday, July 16, just in time for The Odyssey,” Santikos said in a statement.
The theater temporarily closed after sustaining storm damage. Santikos said its team worked to complete the necessary repairs so it could safely reopen for employees and guests.
The Palladium closed Wednesday after sustaining storm damage, Santikos announced on social media. Debris was scattered outside the theater’s entrance, and tree branches littered the parking lot following the tornado.
Although the theater is reopening, work outside the building will continue over the next several days. A temporary fence will remain around the entrance, and directional signs will guide guests to the theater doors.
Santikos thanked the community for its patience during the closure.
