Jessica McCormack to Open First West Coast Store

Costa Mesa, Calif.—London-based jewelry brand Jessica McCormack is expanding its presence in the United States with the opening of its first store in California, marking its second store in the country.

The new location brings the brand’s residential, antique-meets-modern aesthetic to luxury shopping center South Coast Plaza at 3333 Bristol Street in Costa Mesa, California.

“Since we opened our first U.S. store in New York last year, we have seen an overwhelming demand from clients in California—who now drive our largest volume of web orders globally and are our fastest-growing segment on social media,” said Jessica McCormack CEO Leonie Brantberg.

“We wanted to give that audience the real experience: the chance to see the collection and the craftsmanship behind it in person.”

Brantberg added that South Coast Plaza was chosen as the brand’s first location on the West Coast because it is one of the most important destinations for luxury shopping in the area as well, showings a genuine commitment to excellence and a thoughtful curation of brands.

Jessica McCormack (seen here) said, “Wearability has always been at the heart of how I design—pieces meant to be worn every day, not saved for occasions. California already knows how to do that instinctively.”

The 1,600-square-foot space was designed in collaboration with British residential architects to reflect the brand’s signature at-home aesthetic, where each location becomes a townhouse.

Like all Jessica McCormack stores, the new space’s interior design has drawn inspiration from the brand’s original Victorian flagship in Mayfair, London.

The store was decorated with antique furniture, contemporary art, and collected treasures.

Antique furniture, contemporary art, and collected treasures are seen throughout the space, including British artist Wilhelmina Barns-Graham’s “Porthmeor” artwork.

The Mauny wallpaper was hand-printed and inspired by 18th- and 19th-century historical revivals while the fabrics are by Pierre Frey and Lee Jofa.

Like all Jessica McCormack locations, the California store was designed to feel like a townhouse.

The new store will offer an “exceptional showcase” of Jessica McCormack’s signature “Day Diamonds,” from exclusive one-of-a-kinds to new collections.

“Wearability has always been at the heart of how I design—pieces meant to be worn every day, not saved for occasions,” said McCormack, founder of her eponymous brand.

“California already knows how to do that instinctively; there’s an effortless quality to how people dress here that I’ve always admired, and it’s exactly the world I want Day Diamonds to live in.”

The South Coast Plaza store is set to open on Aug. 28.

It is the brand’s fourth standalone location, joining the London flagship, New York City flagship, and a second store in London.

There is also a space for the brand at Harrods in London.

Earlier this year, Jessica McCormack won a Gem Award for Retail Innovation.

According to the brand, which McCormach launched in 2008, its sales grew 60 percent in 2025, with holding company Exor naming it among the fastest-growing names in its luxury portfolio.
