Kit Heath makes move from silver to Argentium

Production switch driven by tarnish-free properties of Argentium.

Kit Heath says it has become the first major jewellery brand in the world to switch its entire silver product line to Argentium, a tarnish-resistant form of the metal.

Argentium is marketed as purer and more durable and brighter than traditional sterling silver or rhodium-plated metals.

Kit Heath says it made the switch after consulting with retailers. Their research found that combating the tarnishing associated with sterling silver would be a positive achievement.

“This is great news for our retailers and our consumers – for a brand already renowned for exceptional quality, the introduction of Argentium creates a truly outstanding offering for the UK market,” said Jeff Lancaster, Kit Heath CEO.

Richard Leyens, CEO of Argentium, added: “By combining stunning designs with the finest silver available, purchasers of Kit Heath jewellery will enjoy owning silver jewellery that stays beautiful for longer. We believe this combination of beauty and innovation truly elevates the Kit Heath brand above the masses, we look forward to a bright future.”
