DUNBAR, Wis. (WBAY) – UPDATE: On Sunday, the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office said that Harold Patz was found dead.
No other information was released.
The family of a missing Marinette County man believes he drowned in Twin Lake.
Harold Patz was last seen at his property on Twin Lake Rd. in Dunbar around 2 p.m. on Sunday. His ATV was found near the lake. A Silver Alert was issued.
The sheriff’s office wouldn’t confirm divers are searching the lake, but the family thanks the dive team in a Facebook post.
“We believe (from some strong evidence) that he has drowned in West Twin Lake. Please pray for the divers and rescue teams who are looking,” the famly wrote.
“We are using every available resource that we have to help locate Mr. Patz. At this time we are doing everything we can to help bring him home,” Sheriff’s Lt. Dave Oginski told Action 2 News.
The family wrote on Facebook, “God is answering your prayers because we’ve been upheld by invisible and visible (so many loving people) comfort. Sometimes His answers come to sustain and not the deliverance that we asked for.”
Patz is described as 5’9, 155lbs, white, with hazel eyes and balding gray hair. He was last seen wearing shorts, tennis shoes, and possibly a black weighted exercise vest.
