Some might say that the Nike Air Max 97 “Silver Bullet” is the perfect sneaker, but others might be more interested in a black-tongued pair previewed by the brand in Paris.
Part of the Nike Spring/Summer 2027 range, which already includes the Air Max 95 “Black Tongue” Pack, the reworked classic is set to return for its 30th anniversary. “Le Silver,” as it’s affectionally called in Italy, sees all of its classic details intact except for the pitch-black tongue. It’s possible the Swoosh will release a standard reissue of Christian Tresser’s beloved design to commemorate 30 years since its debut, but the “Black Tongue Silver Bullet” style may also be the only pair of its kind until the model’s next milestone anniversary.
