P!Nk, Melanie C, Jessie J, Jade, Rachel Chinouriri to be honored at 50th Anniversary O2 Silver Clef Awards – Music News

Nordoff and Robbins, the UK’s leading music therapy charity, has announced a formidable lineup of female artists as the next recipients of the 2026 O2 Silver Clef Awards. Global icon P!NK leads the announcement as the recipient of the prestigious O2 Silver Clef Award, joined by Melanie C, Jessie J, JADE, and Rachel Chinouriri.

This year marks a historic milestone as the awards celebrate their 50th anniversary. In honor of the half-century mark, the ceremony will move to the iconic Royal Albert Hall on Thursday, July 9, 2026. Since its inception in 1976, the event has raised over £17 million, enabling the charity to expand from a local London operation to a national force that delivered 48,000 therapy sessions to more than 15,000 people in 2025 alone.

The 2026 honorees represent a broad spectrum of musical excellence:

P!NK (O2 Silver Clef Award): The trailblazing artist, who has sold over 60 million album equivalents, was recognized for her career-long advocacy and “truth-telling” artistry.

Melanie C (Global Impact Award): Following the release of her ninth album, Sweat, the Spice Girl was honored for her three decades of international influence and LGBTQ+ allyship.

Jessie J (Outstanding Achievement in Music): The Grammy-nominated songwriter was celebrated for her vocal prowess and a career that includes over 20 million records sold.

JADE (Best Female Award): After a triumphant debut solo year and a BRIT Award win, the former Little Mix star was recognized for her bold, boundary-pushing pop vision.

Rachel Chinouriri (Best New Music Award): The rising alt-pop star was honored following the critical success of her debut album and her burgeoning global streaming presence.

Maria Neophytou, CEO of Nordoff and Robbins, praised the recipients as “exceptional talents” whose support is vital for funding life-changing music therapy across schools, hospitals, and care homes. These winners join an elite group of previously announced 2026 recipients, including Lily Allen (Icon Award), Sam Fender (Best Live Act), Ludovico Einaudi, and Max Richter. By uniting music industry titans with emerging stars, the 50th-anniversary gala aims to secure the future of music-led clinical support for the UK’s most vulnerable populations.
