Ukrainian pole vaulter Olha Belchenko won silver at the World Athletics U20 Championships held in Oregon, USA.
In the final, Belchenko cleared 4.40 m.
The gold went to Czech athlete Nicole Krutilova with a result of 4.45 m, while American Kylie Neyra took third place after clearing 4.35 m.
This success was a historic achievement for Ukraine: no Ukrainian female pole vaulter had previously reached the podium at the World U20 Championships.
