Monroe Capital added Alexandra Artes-Roy as a director on the direct originations team. Based in Monroe’s Los Angeles office, Artes-Roy will be responsible for originating new business opportunities within the West Coast region.
Artes-Roy has over 10 years of experience in private credit. Prior to joining Monroe, she was a Principal at KKR, where she worked across the firm’s U.S. and Asia private credit teams, focusing on originating and underwriting private debt and capital markets solutions for financial sponsors and corporate clients. Prior to KKR, Artes-Roy was an associate at Barings, where she worked on the firm’s global high yield and Asia private credit teams.
