Richborough has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of Richard Myatt as chief financial officer.
Myatt, who has more than 30 years’ experience in senior finance roles, qualified with Ernst & Young and has since held a number of senior positions, including finance director at Jewson and SIG, and CFO at Palletways, National Timber Group and Sentry Fire Safety Group.
In his new role, Myatt will oversee financial strategy as the business continues its rapid expansion, ensuring strong financial management across a growing pipeline of residential and commercial sites.
Myatt said: “Richborough has built a strong reputation for delivering value through its land promotion model and demonstrated innovation in the sector. I’m particularly drawn to the entrepreneurial nature of the business and the opportunity to work closely with people across the organisation to understand what drives its success. My focus will be on ensuring the business remains resilient, with the financial strength to continue growing its portfolio and delivering for landowners, partners and investors.”
Paul Campbell, chief executive of Richborough, added: “Richard’s appointment reflects our continued investment in senior talent to support our expanding portfolio and long-term growth strategy. His breadth of experience and people-focused approach to finance will be a valuable asset as we continue to scale the business.”
