Swiss private bank J Safra Sarasin launches a new advisory arm aimed at private markets.

Sarasin has just launched J Safra Sarasin –
Strategic Advisors, a suite of services designed to meet the
advisory and capital needs of clients, aimed at the private
market.
Led by Edward Joudrey, a former managing director at the Bank of
America in London, the business provides advisory
capabilities across a range of services including strategic
advisory, M&A execution, capital structure advisory and
equity capital raising, the firm said in a statement.
Based in London, the team, which includes Lorenzo Sforza,
formerly at Goldman Sachs, and Yegor Bryukhanov, previously at
Bank of America, brings global investment banking experience.
They have a track record of working together across M&A and
capital raising assignments for a range of clients, the firm
added.
The business, which focuses on private markets, aims to
serve a diverse client base including private businesses,
founders, entrepreneurs, high net worth individuals, family
offices, private equity and other institutional investors.
J Safra Sarasin – Strategic Advisors said it will use the
broader J Safra Sarasin capabilities and global network to
enhance the business. The services are designed to provide
long-term, tailored advice, aimed at addressing clients”
needs more effectively.
