Opereit Raises $2.5 Million To Automate Logistics Claims With AI Agents

Barcelona-based logistics technology startup Opereit has emerged from stealth with a $2.5 million pre-seed funding round and the launch of its AI-powered platform designed to help companies recover revenue lost through logistics billing errors, lost shipments, and unclaimed credits.

The company said it has spent months building its platform before publicly unveiling the business following the financing. According to Opereit, the logistics industry leaves more than $1 trillion in value unrecovered each year due to a combination of inadequate tracking, limited follow-up processes, and failure to recover claims.

Opereit’s platform deploys AI agents that automatically identify and recover money lost through transportation invoice mistakes, missing shipments, and unclaimed credits. The company says its technology automates what has traditionally been a labor-intensive process, helping logistics operators recover funds that would otherwise go unnoticed.

The funding round was backed by a group of venture capital firms and angel investors, including Seedcamp, Yellow, Carles Reina of Baobab Ventures, Enzo Ventures, Masia, Dídac Lee, OPRTRS CLUB, and Kima Ventures.

The launch comes as companies across the logistics sector increasingly look to artificial intelligence to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and uncover new sources of revenue. By focusing on claims management and recovery, Opereit is targeting a significant pain point for logistics operators that often struggle with fragmented processes and limited visibility into potential reimbursements.

The company indicated that the newly raised capital will support continued product development and growth as it expands its AI-driven logistics recovery platform.
