Advent International Corp., a private equity investor that works with a number of large law firms, has named financial services and private funds veteran Michael Treisman as its new legal leader.
Treisman was most recently general counsel and chief compliance officer for Boston-based Charlesbank Capital Partners LLC, a middle-market private equity firm that hired him in March 2025. He previously spent a decade in a variety of roles at Bain Capital LP, where he was a partner and global general counsel for the private equity firm’s capital solutions, credit, and public equity businesses.
