S&W Appoints Rosemary Prendecki And Andrew Robinson As Partners To Expand Transaction Tax Advisory Business

S&W Group has appointed Rosemary Prendecki and Andrew Robinson as partners in its transaction tax practice, expanding its advisory capabilities for private equity firms, investment funds, financial services companies, and corporate clients.

The appointments strengthen the professional services firm’s ability to advise businesses throughout the transaction lifecycle, including acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, financing transactions, and exits.

Prendecki joins S&W from EY, where she was a partner in the private capital transactions team.

She has extensive experience advising private equity investors, portfolio companies, and corporate sponsors, particularly in the middle market.

Her work has focused on transaction-related tax issues affecting businesses and investors undertaking acquisitions, reorganizations, and other corporate transactions.

The appointment also represents a return to S&W for Prendecki, who began her professional career at the firm.

Robinson joins from KPMG, where he served as a partner in its deal advisory tax team.

His experience includes advising private equity firms, financial services businesses, and corporate clients on transaction structuring, tax due diligence, divestitures, and reorganizations.

Together, the two executives add expertise spanning domestic and cross-border transactions.

Their appointments will support S&W’s efforts to deliver integrated advisory services across transaction tax, transaction services, and corporate finance.

The additions follow the recent appointment of Paul Martin as Partner and Head of Transaction Services, another step in the firm’s investment in its deals and advisory capabilities.

S&W intends to use the expanded leadership team to provide clients with coordinated support from initial transaction planning through completion and eventual exit.

For private equity clients, this approach can involve evaluating acquisition structures, conducting tax due diligence, managing portfolio company reorganizations, and preparing businesses for potential sales.

Corporate clients may also require transaction-related tax advice when undertaking strategic acquisitions, divestitures, or changes to their operating structures.

The new partners will work alongside S&W’s existing transaction services and corporate finance professionals to address those requirements.

Mark Webb, Head of Business Tax at S&W, said the appointments bring complementary experience across private capital, financial services, and corporate transactions.

The additions also reflect the firm’s continued investment in its advisory capabilities as it expands its relationships with businesses and institutional investors.
