Odesa region attacked by Russian drones, critical infrastructure hit, one person injured


Russia attacked the Odesa region with strike drones once again tonight; there is damage to a critical infrastructure facility, and one person is reported injured, Odesa Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Kiper and the State Emergency Service (SES) in the region reported on Friday, UNN writes.

Tonight, the enemy once again attacked the Odesa region with strike drones. In the Odesa district, a private residential building was destroyed as a result of a UAV hit, and a fire broke out. Damage to a critical infrastructure facility was also recorded,

– Kiper wrote on social media.

As the SES indicated, residential and critical infrastructure came under attack.

According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, the UAV hit caused a fire in an empty warehouse building and equipment.

“As a result of the hits, fires broke out, which firefighters promptly extinguished. SES psychologists worked at the scenes, providing psychological support to local residents. Unfortunately, 1 person was injured,” the SES reported.

The work of the rescuers, as noted, was complicated by repeated air raid alerts.
