Jewellery and other items were stolen after a property near Banbridge was ransacked on Saturday afternoon.
Detectives are appealing for information following the burglary in the Dublin Road area of the A1.
The incident was reported to police at around 2.15pm.
Police said it is believed that sometime after 12.15pm, entry was gained to the property.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anyone suspicious in the area or to anyone with CCTV or other footage that could assist with the investigation, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 810 16/08/26.”
