Federated Hermes gets green light for refurbishment of Poole warehouse

Federated Hermes has secured planning consent to redevelop a 60,268 sq ft warehouse at Fleets Corner Business Park in Poole.

The £2.4m comprehensive refurbishment of Unit A3 includes the installation of a built-up metal roofing system incorporating new rooflights, a new mezzanine level to create 3,682 sq ft of modern office accommodation, a new platform lift and LED lighting.

Located along the south coast in Gosport, Fareham Reach recently secured two tenants on new leases, with the Jessie Leigh Dance & Cheer Academy signing for a 19,000 sq ft unit.

Ian Cody, asset management director at Federated Hermes Real Estate, said: “We have invested significantly in Fleets Corner to continue its evolution into a next-generation business park, providing a first-rate warehouse and office provision for both national and local companies. Unit A3 is the latest in a series of regeneration projects across the site, aligning with two new lettings at Fareham Reach. The combination highlights both assets’ position as prime business hubs and demonstrates our commitment to shaping places people and businesses want to be part of, which is precisely why they remain so compelling.”

JLL is the asset manager for Fareham Reach and Fleets Corner.
