Group urges govt support for real estate network marketing | The Guardian Nigeria News

Following high levels of unemployment in Nigeria estimated at over 40per cent, especially among the youths, Peak Performer Business Network (PPBN) has urged governments at various levels to support real estate network marketing groups by providing an enabling environment and formulating policies for them to thrive.

The group, which made the call at its third anniversary in Lagos, said the initiative is contributing positively to the Nigerian economy by reducing the skyrocketing unemployment rate in the country through training, mentoring, and creating a thriving environment for youths and adults alike to become top-selling real estate consultants (realtors).

President of the group, Kazeem Yekinni, while encouraging members to shun competition and embrace collaboration, said the network has reduced high levels of unemployment in the society, which causes negative vices and crime such as fraud, kidnapping and prostitution that is ravaging the country presently.

He said: “The real estate networking marketing sector started less than a decade ago to change this narrative by changing the lives of hundreds of thousands of Nigerians for the better, taking them off crime and vices, and turning them into thoroughbred entrepreneurs and millionaires. People have won houses, vehicles, trips abroad, courses, set up in business, and many more. This should be applauded.”

The group enjoined young Nigerians to embrace entrepreneurial groups like theirs to beat the financial hardships that are presently ravaging the country.
