Plunk Family Estate commercial properties to be sold

WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE) – The Plunk Family Estate plans to sell 11 commercial real estate properties — offered as 12 lots — in a live virtual online auction on Thursday, June 4, 2026, according to Bonnette Auctions.

The auction is expected to be among the larger single-event, multi-property commercial real estate sales in West Monroe and Ouachita Parish in recent years.

The portfolio was assembled over decades by Donnie Plunk Sr., a longtime Ouachita Parish businessman and honorary deputy who died in October 2021 at age 71. The estate sale follows the death of his son, Donald “Don” E. Plunk Jr., who died in February 2026 at age 50.

Together, the father and son built a prominent commercial real estate presence in West Monroe and were involved in several local ventures, including Truck Parts Sales, Heavy Equipment Sales and Donnie Plunk’s Towing & Recovery.

Bonnette Auctions said the properties include warehouses, industrial sites, retail and office buildings, a 34-unit self-storage facility and more.

Properties are located on Sterling Avenue, Jerry Street, Old Natchitoches Road, Franklin Drive, Jonesboro Road, Harold Street and Washington Street.

The auction will be conducted online with a live auctioneer audio feed.

Bidder registration is now open. For more information on the auction details and lots offered visit the Bonnette Auctions website.
