Rare industrial project advances in Northern Kentucky


CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – The city of Independence and a prolific national developer are advancing plans for a large industrial project.

Kansas City, Mo.-based VanTrust Real Estate plans to develop three buildings, totaling 1.1 million square feet, on roughly 86 acres on the south side of Mount Zion Road near the intersection with Sigmon Lane.

The project would constitute a second phase of the developer’s Park 536, itself a planned three-building, 1.2 million-square-foot industrial complex.
