Gold prices posted a modest increase in Pakistan’s bullion market on Saturday, while silver prices moved lower, according to the latest rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa and Jewellers Association.
The association said the price of 24-karat gold rose by PKR 300 per tola, taking it to PKR 427,736. The rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also climbed by PKR 257 to reach PKR 366,714.
Silver, however, recorded a decline, with the price of 24-karat silver falling by PKR 12 per tola to settle at PKR 6,297.
In the international market, gold prices also registered a slight gain, increasing by $3 to close at $4,053 per ounce.
