COWANSVILLE — The Sûreté du Québec has issued a Silver Alert and is asking for the public’s help locating 80-year-old Suzanne Sabourin of Cowansville.
According to the SQ, Sabourin was last seen at her residence on Principale Street in Cowansville.
Police said she may be disoriented and that there are reasons to fear for her health and safety.
Sabourin is described as five feet eight inches tall, or 1.72 metres, and weighing approximately 136 pounds, or 62 kilograms.
She has white hair and green and brown eyes.
When she was last seen, Sabourin was wearing black-and-white pants and a blue sweater.
The Sûreté du Québec issued the missing-person notice on Aug. 7.
Anyone who sees Sabourin is asked to call 911 immediately.
Anyone with information that could help police locate her can also contact the Sûreté du Québec’s Criminal Information Centre confidentially at 1-800-659-4264.
