MoC moves to strengthen commercial public services


The Ministry of Commerce (MoC) Monday reviewed the performance of its General Department of Commercial Services, aiming to improve public service delivery, accelerate work implementation and address emerging challenges.

The meeting, chaired by Minister of Commerce Cham Nimul, was attended by MoC secretaries of state, undersecretaries of state, directors general, deputy directors general, department directors and other senior officials, in Phnom Penh on August 10.

According to an MoC announcement, the meeting assessed the results and progress of departments under the General Department of Commercial Services during the first six months of this year.

The review focused on strengthening the efficiency of public services, accelerating the implementation of assigned tasks and addressing challenges promptly, the statement added.

Officials also discussed strategic priorities for the remaining six months of 2026 to ensure effective implementation and improve the quality of services provided to businesses and the public.
