Scottish Olympic Gold medalist involved in fatal Spanish crash

It was reported by the Spanish press that Luis Enrique’s daughter, Sira Martinez, was involved in the crash in Oliva alongside an unnamed horse rider that killed a 20-year-old motorbike rider at around 7.45pm on Thursday on the N-322 road.

A local paper, Las Provincias, said the driver of the Audi Q3 involved in the collision with the biker was a 40-year-old “famous Scottish Olympic equestrian”.

The Scottish Sun has now reported that the Scottish Olympic equestrian in question was Scott Brash.
